The Vision Behind the Event
The concept for this benefit concert was brought to life by acclaimed singer-songwriter Vaneese Thomas and her husband, renowned recording engineer and producer Wayne Warnecke. Diagnosed with ALS in 2022, Wayne has been a symbol of strength and positivity, continuing to influence the music scene he loves. His impressive career includes collaborations with music legends such as Chaka Khan and Luther Vandross. Their joint vision for the concert seeks to unite artists across genres—blues, soul, funk, and rock—into a transformative evening that channels music’s power as a force for hope.
